I have been a professional educator for 28 years. My first seven years were spent teaching 7th-12th grade students English, Spanish and Science. I earned a Masters degree in Counseling which gave me the opportunity to work as a high school guidance counselor. After 7 more years I earned my school administrator's license and became a high school administrator and then a junior high school principal. After completing a School Business Management Certificate at the University of Southern California my family moved to Pocatello to become the Principal at the Academy.
This is now my 9th year at the Academy. I am proud of the growth and development of our school and the high professionalism of our staff and look forward to many more years here.
I was born and raised in Pocatello and graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2004. I received my Public Charter Administrator Certificate in 2019. It is an honor to be working in Administration at Connor Academy. My goal is to "Make a Difference in the lives of children!" I was inspired by my 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Crawford, she Made a Difference in my life!
