Heidi graduated from Idaho State University in 2015 with a Bachelor in Elementary Education. She enjoyed a previous career as a Children’s Librarian for The Portneuf District Library and West Des Moines Public Library. During this time, she developed her passion for literacy and children. She has taught second and third grade and loves sharing her love of reading and learning with her students. 

During her downtime, Heidi enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
