The application window for the Connor Academy 2022-2023 public lottery is now closed. You may apply to the wait list at the SchoolMint link below.
The public lottery drawing was held on Friday, March 11, 2022 in accordance with Title 33, Chapter 52, Idaho Code.
First: Children of founders and full-time employees.
Second: Siblings of current students.
Third: Siblings offered a seat.
Fourth: Applicants who reside in the primary attendance area (School District 25 boundaries).
Fifth: Applicants who reside outside of the primary attendance area (School District 25 boundaries).
Students who are offered a seat must accept by March 18th, 2022. If no response is received, you will forfeit your spot.
Students who did not secure a spot at the lottery drawing will be placed on the wait list. We work off of this list for the entire year, so if you did not immediately get a seat, you may mid year! Your wait list placement can be viewed at anytime in the parent portal via SchoolMint.
Is there a cost to attend Connor Academy?
No, we are a tuition free public charter school.
Oops! I entered something incorrectly.
Please make sure to check your work. One common mistake is signing up for the wrong grade. If you don't catch it until after the lottery, there's nothing we can do. Make sure that you enter the correct age and birthdates of your student(s). Double and triple check your entry details before you submit.
Who qualifies as a sibling?
To qualify as a sibling, students must share a residence AND a legal guardian.
Do I have to reapply every year?
Yes. Until your student is enrolled in Connor Academy, an application needs to be submitted each year to be included in the lottery.
Does applying on the first day of the lottery window give me an advantage?
No. There is no advantage regardless of when one applies during the lottery window.
Do you accept students with special needs?
Connor Academy Public Charter School (District 460) offers, free of charge, special education and 504 services to those students who meet federal and state requirements. All information regarding a student’s ability level is confidential and protected through Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We accept all students regardless of their race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, gender, social status, or special needs. If you have questions about the programs and referral process, please contact the school office or refer to the Procedural Safeguards Notice document.
